Learn how to skillfully navigate contract negotiations!
Join other bargaining committee members at this crash course covering legal frameworks, common terminology, drafting proposals, democratic practices in bargaining, and other tips and strategies.
Everyone is welcome: from first-time negotiations team members to experienced bargainers who want a refresher.
When: Thursday, August 27
Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern / 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central

This workshop will be facilitated by Dawn Tefft, a labor educator and representative with the Illinois Education Association. Dawn has been organizing, teaching, and bargaining with unions since occupying the Wisconsin statehouse in 2011 to fight its then-governor's anti-union legislation. She is also a volunteer with the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee.
