9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Plumbers and Steamfitters Building,
701 W. State St., Ithaca, NY

Upstate New York troublemakers are planning a day of skill-building workshops, education, and strategy discussions to put some movement back in the labor movement.

This school will be a great opportunity for union members and labor activists to share strategies and build the solidarity required in these tough times.

A light breakfast, lunch, and a copy of the Labor Notes classic A Troublemaker's Handbook 2 are included with registration.

We will have a full agenda for the school, including workshops and plenaries, as we get closer.

Child care will be offered, with a deadline to request it of March 15. Send an e-mail here with ages of kids.

For more info, contact Ellen David Friedman, 607-216-5476, ellendavidfriedman[at]hotmail[dot]com, or Pete Meyers of the Tompkins County Workers' Center, 607-269-0409, pete[at]tcworkerscenter[dot]org.

Cost: $30 regular registration; $15 low-income. For $45, you get a regular registration plus a half-price one-year subscription to Labor Notes.

Register online below, or at the door (though please e-mail us to let us know if you are planning on registering at the door so we can better estimate attendance). No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
